Voipswitch and DIDx announce exclusive offer for voipswitch customers

Order 1000 phone numbers from the USA for as little as $150 per month!!!

Allow your clients to experience the benefits of the next generation telephony.
For only 15 cents per month per number you can offer your clientele incoming calls to their VoIP devices.

How it works:

  1. Purchase a block of US numbers from DIDx
  2. Import the block to Voipswitch via its DID API ( a very simple procedure)
  3. Configure the online Sign Up component to use DID phone number as a username for the newly created account.
  4. Set the imported US numbers prefix as free in the tariff section on voipswitch.
  5. Bill your customers anywhere from $5 to 10$ a month per number.

When a new user signs up from your website an account will be created with one of the US numbers as the user’s login automatically. The newly created client can register to voipswitchfrom a VoIP device or a mobile softphone. Instantaneously the account is set up to receive calls. Incoming calls to the US phone number will trigger a standard ringing tone on the VoIP softphone. No additional configuration is required. An additional benefit to your subscribers is that if the US numbers from your block are set to be free of charge within your voipswitch, then all your users will be able to call each other for free irrespective of their geographical location! Thanks to voip tunnel this service can work also in Dubai.

Voipswitch functionality is extended to PSTN interface by Sangoma boards

Voiceserve Inc. (VSRV) and Sangoma Technologies (TSX VENTURE:STC) today announced the completion of successful interoperability tests between the companies’ product lines. This successful validation of interoperability which included comprehensive functionality and stability tests ensures that users of the Voipswitch software can now select Sangoma’s NetBorder Express Gateway as a gateway device to create cost-effective switching applications.

The combination of Sangoma’s NetBorder Express Gateway and Voipswitch Softswitch provides a robust and reliable PSTN switching platform,” said Dr.Chris Oglaza CTO Voiceserve Inc. “The boards are available in different configurations with ISDN E1/T1 ports as well as analogue ports. NetBorder Express provides in addition a set of management tools which allow for seamless configuration with voipswitch.”

“We are thrilled to bring our wide range of telephony connectivity options to users of the Voipswitch . NetBorder Express TDM-to-SIP Gateway solution in combination with Voipswitch’s software makes a great switching platform for networks of all types”, said Frederic Dickey, Director of Product Management at Sangoma.

This additional facility now available for Voipswitch clientele, the use of Sangoma hardware cards, enables its customers to deploy PSTN trunks with extremely modest costs. The Sangoma board is simply inserted into the Voipswitch server. Clients will not need any expensive external gateways. The calling card, wholesale termination and IP PBX scenarios will be enhanced dramatically with the NetBorder Express Gateway installed. Also, having a Sangoma board will act as a secure backup in the event that the internet link is severed, thus permitting traffic to pass through PSTN trunks.
