New Transcoding module
The calls transcoding feature enables VoipSwitch to route and connect calls when the call origination and termination have no common audio codec. The transcoding process is fully transparent for end users. New transcoding module can handle up to 400 channels on one 4cores Xeon CPU server and supports a cluster architecture. From now on you can use Fax option and make the most of it! VoipSwitch represents new feature, which is Fax over the IP. The new module is easy to use via convenient menu which allows you to quick navigation and configuration. It can be used through VSPortal or PBX Portal which makes a big surplus value for those portals. New VSC Module
This version of VSC was created with the focus put on functionality, efficiency and safety. For sure the first thing that can be noticed is a clear and friendly design. There is a convenient menu on the left and intuitive panel in the middle, with very handy tabs. That makes the application not only look better, but also easier to navigate. Login process is now safer, because all uses' access data is gathered in a separate(not only Windows) database.
