Always On server
Always On server is responsible for ensuring the communication when the user is offline which can happen when the application is closed or there are problems with internet connectivity.
Main features:
- Incoming calls parking – the server uses the PUSH notification mechanism to inform the client about a new incoming call (both audio and video calls), by tapping the notification a user can answer the call. Supported on Android and iOS.
- Voice/Video mail – after a predefined timeout (or if a user disabled PUSH on his phone) the incoming call is redirected to voicemail.
- Voicemail to email delivery
- Chat messages queuing – the server sends PUSH notification on new text or multimedia message. Also when a user logs in the softphone will automatically download the messages stored on the server
- Presence server – distributing actual status and description of the users. Fully integrated with the contact lists of the active address book directory
