SMS with Interactive Voice Response (IVR)

With the SMS for IVR system, customers can send SMS codes to clients’ destination numbers using customized IVR. The inbound SMS is received over SMPP. When the SMS hits the server, “submit_sm” is sent to the SMS provider. Voipswitch detects the code in the SMS message and triggers a call to the destination number to which the SMS was originated. The customer receives the call with the custom IVR playing a message example: “Your code is,” and the customer can set the number of attempts of the IVR calls sent to the customer. After the customer successfully answers the call, the “delivery_sm” is sent to the SMS provider that originated the SMS over SMPP.
